I haven't been to this place in forever! I need to go more often. My boss wanted to meet up for lunch since there is an Asian store next door and I have forgotten how good this place is. Just make the stop and try it out yourself.

I have been to many Korean restaurants all over Florida and I can tell you this place is absolutely a hidden gem. the tteokbokki is gonna blow your mind. its not overly complicated or massive, just such clean and quality flavors. I even had them bring me a bowl of rice so I could enjoy the broth when I finished! I also ordered pajeon (pancake) and japchae. everything was just as good as the last and I couldn't pick my favorite. the banchan was all delicious and so fresh, absolutely perfect compliment to each dish. the location is small and cozy, great music playing quietly over the speakers. if you love real Korean food you gotta give this spot a try, plus with a Korean grocery store right next door you can be inspired to go grab some ingredients to make what you ate again when you go home, I couldn't help but grab myself some kimchi lol.

I decided to visit this restaurant today located at 5161 Beach Blvd Unit 5B Jacksonville, FL 32207 United States and ordered the beef tripe soup. The sides were delicious but when the soup arrived and I started eating I realized that the tripe was not cleaned. I thought maybe that was the way it is cooked in this particular restaurant but when I went online, it showed that if tripe is not cleaned at all, it can be very unsafe and extremely unpleasant to eat because it comes from the stomach of the animal. Uncleaned tripe may still contain: • Food residue • Digestive material • Bacteria • Strong bile or waste odors Possible problems include: • Severe foul smell • Bad taste • Food poisoning • Bacterial contamination such as E. coli or Salmonella • Stomach cramps, vomiting, or diarrhea That is why proper cleaning is considered essential before cooking. In restaurants, especially professional Korean restaurants, tripe is normally cleaned thoroughly because customers would immediately notice if it were not. I’ve been here twice now, and I love it! The first time was a couple of years ago, and I finally had the chance to go back a couple of months ago. I tried something different each time, and everything turned out delicious and came out quickly. This is absolutely my favorite Korean restaurant. Most recently, I ordered the Mandu and the beef bulgogi. My friend ordered a fried chicken dish and loved it too. All the banchans were delicious, and we had quick refills for what we asked for. Glad it’s down the street from me because I need to make it my mission to eat here more in 2026!

This Korean restaurant may be on the smaller side, but it’s definitely worth a visit. The service was friendly and efficient, and the bathroom was impressively clean. The food was absolutely delicious—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. It wasn’t too crowded, and everything came out quickly. I highly recommend this place!
